For whom?

for students of secondary schools and vocational schools from the Ústí nad Labem region,

who have a desire to create something, are not afraid to try new things and have an idea in their head - or just great curiosity.

You can have an ecological project, a technical invention, a social startup or a completely different madness. All you need is an open mind, a desire to learn and the courage to take the first step.

Startup Academy is our unique educational program, which inspires and develops everyone who is interested in the world of modern business, technology and startups. During five You will have months to travel from the initial idea to the moment when you confidently present it to the jury. – and maybe you can turn it into a real project.

The series of workshops that await you is not about nerding out. Everything is led by a group of experienced people from practice – entrepreneurs, designers, mentors – and they will create, debug, discuss and make mistakes together with you. You will learn to work with the Lean Canvas, understand how to verify that your idea has a chance of success, give it a face through marketing and learn how to speak about it convincingly.

The goal is toto tell you that business it's not just about tables and suits, but mainly about ideas, energy and willingness to do things differentlyYou will learn to combine theory with practice and turn your idea into something that makes sense.

Open (regional) Startup Academy

A voluntary educational event that takes place at a pre-announced location. Pupils and students from various secondary schools and vocational schools in the region meet to create, plan and present their ideas together.

Advantages:

Inspiring environment: The event takes place outside of school, often in an interesting space (e.g. coworking, cultural center or innovation center).
Meeting peers from other schools: Students will encounter different approaches, ideas and experiences.
Networking and new friendships: Connecting with students from the surrounding area broadens horizons and motivation.
Volunteering = motivated participants: The students who sign up have a genuine interest in creating and collaborating.

Startup Academy directly at the school

A program tailored to a specific school – it can take place as part of the curriculum (e.g. in one of the subjects), in optional blocks or as an afternoon activity. One class or students across grades and subjects can participate.

Advantages:

Easy class engagement: The program can be part of regular teaching or a school project.
Flexibility of time and topics: Can be adapted to the schedule and specific needs of the school.
Promoting teamwork in the classroom: Students learn to cooperate with peers they already know.
Ideal for systematic work: Possibility to follow up on the academy with other activities directly at school.
