The Podkrušnohorský Fair of Fictitious Companies is a unique regional event where high school students from the Ústí nad Labem Region present themselves through their own fictitious companies. The fair simulates a real business environment and allows students to apply their knowledge of economics, accounting, marketing and foreign languages. The program includes competitions for the best company, stand or catalogue, which support creativity, entrepreneurship and presentation skills. The event is the result of cooperation between the Innovation Centre of the Ústí nad Labem Region and local schools, and its aim is to motivate young people to start a business and connect school activities with practice.

How the fair is going

individual fictitious companies function as a tool for practical learning during the school year
It is necessary to register a fictitious company within a month before the Podkrušnohorský Fair.
a fictitious company may or may not compete in all listed categories
some categories are evaluated by a professional jury before the start of the fair (e.g. submitted logo, slogan or video spot)
On the morning before the start of the fair, companies set up stands and prepare for the opening of the fair and trading.
After the opening ceremony, trading begins, carried out by visitors from invited elementary schools.
At the same time, an expert jury visits the individual stands, trading takes place in English and ELEVATOR PITCH
After the end of trading, an expert jury will evaluate the individual categories
The fair ends with the announcement of the winners of the individual categories.
The TOP innovative company is a fictitious company that competed in all listed categories and received the highest number of points in total.
