Description

The main objective of the NET4DIGI project is to stabilize and expand cooperation in the field of digitalization and innovation at the level of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and business support organizations (BSOs) from the Czech-Saxon border region.

The specific objective of the project is to create a functional ecosystem – a B2B collaborative network and platform that will support the digital transformation of SMEs. The project focuses on four main pillars: a) Building the capacities of BSOs through joint workshops, knowledge exchange and setting uniform standards for supporting SMEs; b) Expanding the Trans3net platform with new functions, including a knowledge database, mentoring services and tools for cross-border cooperation; c) Supporting the digitalization of SMEs through information campaigns and workshops focused on digital transformation and available European challenges; d) Initiating project collaborations and assisting in establishing cross-border consortia with possible support from specialized mentors in the areas of AI, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), cybersecurity and other technologies.

Project NET4DIGI within the framework of the Interreg Czech Republic – Saxony 2021–2027 project, it strengthens cross-border cooperation between the Czech Republic and Saxony in the field of digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises. It creates a network of business support organizations that share knowledge, develop common service standards and increase the quality of support for the digitalization of companies in the region. It builds on the Trans3Net platform, which it expands with new functions and tools for connecting companies, experts and institutions. The project thus helps small and medium-sized enterprises to implement modern technologies, increase competitiveness and develop cross-border cooperation through mentoring, workshops and joint initiatives. Thanks to this, it contributes to strengthening the innovation ecosystem and sustainable economic development of the Czech-Saxon border region.
