The Innovation Center of the Ústí Region continues to develop the innovation potential of the region. After the recent study trip of the Innovation Center of the Ústí Region to Silicon Valley, which was organized with Czechinvest, cooperation with leading American innovation centers is gaining momentum.

Key partnership with Plug and Play

One of the first steps of this newly established cooperation is intensive communication with Plug and Play, a renowned technology center and startup accelerator that focuses on the support of innovative projects and access to new markets. We hope that this partnership will open up new possibilities for startups from the Ústí Region.

Connecting with the academic world

Another important step is negotiations with the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) and the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship. The potential for cooperation lies in the connection of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University with these prestigious centers, which will enable students and academics to participate in international research and development projects.

Opportunities for startups from the Ústí Region in SkyDeck

Negotiations took place with SkyDeck, during which ICUK was presented with the possibilities of participating in various programs. Among them are the SkyDeck Accelerator Program, SkyDeck Europe, Milano and the Innovation Partners Program. These programs offer unique opportunities for startup development, from mentorship to access to international markets (both US and European).
