The Regional Development Agency of the Pardubice Region (RRA PK) enters the national network of innovation centers Ynovate. The Pardubice region thus becomes the ninth region of the Czech Republic to have its own representation in the network. Activities within Ynovate will be carried out by RRA PK in cooperation with the managers of the subsidiary organization - Pardubice business incubator, z.ú. (P-PINK). Organizations can now use the proven network of top business experts from other regions of the Czech Republic for the development of local startups, small and medium-sized companies.
"We connect companies with experts from all over the Czech Republic. Among them are successful entrepreneurs as well as top professionals in sub-fields of business. For companies with a unique product, it is their experience that can be the reason why they eventually succeed even internationally,Jindřich Weiss describes the work of individual centers, saying that thanks to the Ynovate network, innovation centers can share experts across regions and also expand the spectrum of know-how provided. "TOclients of innovation centers in the network can find exactly the support they need," added Klára Štefančová, director of the Regional Development Agency of the Pardubice Region. Thanks to the cooperation of innovation centers to date, over 700 small and medium-sized companies have received just such support. Among them are many internationally successful companies. At the same time as joining Ynovate, the region becomes part of a group of agencies that play a significant role in the area of innovation support strategy at the national level. "We actively cooperate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade or the CzechInvest agency,” says Weiss, according to whom even national support programs can be more effective thanks to the experience of individual agencies.
The Ynovate network was established in 2021 on the basis of the cooperation of eight innovation centers. Part of it from the beginning there were innovation centers from South Moravian, Liberec, Moravian-Silesian, Olomouc, Pilsen, Central Bohemia, Ústí and Zlín. This year, the Žilina Region and the Pardubice Region joined them this year.
Regional Councilor for Regional Development and Chairman of the Executive Board of RRA PK Ladislav Valtr is convinced that: "Connecting our territory in the Ynovate network creates interesting opportunities for further growth for local companies, on a very professional basis. In addition, together with joining Ynovate, we will also start using the Swiss Platinn consulting methodology, which has also proven itself in other regions of the country."
