The Innovation Center of the Ústí Region (ICUK) has successfully passed the EBN certification process and obtained a five-year membership and authorization to use the brand of this prestigious European network of innovation and business centers EU|BIC. In addition to ICUK, only four other organizations from the Czech Republic belong to the first league of European innovation centers. Thus, ICUK will open up access to world-class education and partnerships for companies from the region.
The Innovation Center of the Ústí Region completed the complex certification process connected with the personal audit of the members of the EBN commission in May. The license confirming the highest standards of services for ICUK was received on Wednesday, June 14 at the EBN international congress in Brno by the director of the organization, Martin Mata:
"The preparation for the several-day EBN audit was difficult, but we did the main work long before that - with our several years of activity, continuous development and a clear vision to move the region and companies towards innovation. I take the EU|BIC brand as an award for this work by a respected international authority."

EU|BIC represents the largest and most prestigious European network of business and innovation centers. It brings together more than 165 certified organizations and affiliated members (which also includes ICUK), who provide services for more than 36,000 innovative companies and entrepreneurs from 35 countries.
The certification and five-year authorization for ICUK means confirmation of the highest standards of services for entrepreneurs and will bring new possibilities and opportunities to companies from the region on a European and global level. Through ICUK, they will gain access to exclusive industry education, financial instruments, new partnerships and cooperation with customers and business partners in global markets.
