At the beginning of September, a mission of representatives of Czech innovation and transfer centers to Sweden was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Jiří Kozák. The goal of this mission was to meet with key actors of the Swedish innovation ecosystem, including leading representatives of Swedish universities, the most active investors in startups, as well as Czech scientists who are successfully working in Sweden.
This mission provided Czech innovation centers with a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with their Swedish counterparts. It is another step towards strengthening relations between the Czech Republic and Sweden in the field of innovation and business.

The representatives of the mission took part in the ceremonial opening of the Pavilion – a space intended for Czech entrepreneurs in the grounds of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the heart of Stockholm. This Pavilion offers Czech entrepreneurs a place where they can hold meetings with their Swedish partners and organize educational and social events.

For ICUK, the result of the mission is the establishment of intensive cooperation with Swedish institutions, and the transfer of knowledge and methodologies, which will further expand the services of ICUK Global, especially for small and medium-sized companies and start-up entrepreneurs from the Ústí Region.
