THE INNOVATION CENTER OF THE ÚSTÉK REGION AND THE RENAISSANCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND JOINTLY SUPPORTED TALENTS

The Innovation Center of the Ústí Region (ICUK) in cooperation with the Renaissance Scholarship Fund, founded by Martin Hausenblas, an Ústí businessman and patriot, supported four talented female students from the Ústí Region. This initiative, aimed at expanding opportunities for young talents, will offer financial support to dozens of pupils and students from next year.

On Monday, November 27, a meeting was held with supported pupils, representatives of the Ústí Community Foundation, Jateční Gymnasium, Center for Talented Youth (CTM), ICUK and the founder of the Renaissance Scholarship Fund, Martin Hausenblas.

It was he who initiated the connection of these organizations and thus supported the expansion of CTM educational programs in the Ústí Region. "We are very happy that we are expanding our center's programs to other regions and educating ambitious young pupils and students," said CTM director Jeanna Bočková.

CTM offers over 100 online courses in English in a variety of areas, from maths to creative writing, for students from 11 years old to GCSE. CTM was created in 2010 to suit pupils and students who prefer an individual and flexible approach to education, and respects their own learning pace and desire to learn in a field they enjoy. CTM online courses represent a long-term and comprehensive educational program in English, which enables pupils and students to obtain international education under financially affordable conditions. ICUK informed the directors of gymnasiums and business academies in the region about the possibility of obtaining scholarships for CTM programs. For the first time, four female students were selected for the annual scholarship, each worth 10,000 crowns.

"Education is an investment in our future. I am excited to support these four talented pupils with an annual scholarship because I believe in their potential and determination," commented Martin Hausenblas. "We believe that after successfully completing their studies, they will stay in our region to not only continue studying here and contribute to its development, but also motivate others." added Kateřina Valešová, director of the Ústí Community Foundation.

Next year, ICUK will expand this initiative and plans to financially support two dozen pupils and students from the Ústí Region per year. “This move is part of a wider effort to strengthen educational opportunities in the region and support young talent. By the end of the year, we will publish detailed information on scholarship support on our website. We also want to focus on those whose financial background does not allow them to develop their talent and cannot afford such studies," Martin Mata, director of ICUK, specified the plans.

In addition to scholarship support, ICUK also prepares a number of other services and programs for pupils, students, teachers and schools, e.g. a program that teaches pupils and students the secrets of successful business and combines theory with practice; educational one-off or repeated lectures and workshops for schools, focused on practical experience and modern approaches in teaching, or practice and internships with the possibility of gaining practical experience in the field through real projects and work with experts.
