Motivational roadshow with YOU CAN DO BUSINESS

Motivational roadshow

consists of a series of 15 motivational seminars that will take place at various secondary schools, vocational schools, grammar schools and higher vocational schools in the region. Each seminar will be led by personality from practice, especially a successful entrepreneur or professional with a strong story and experience that can inspire young people to start a business. 

2 seminars will take place in 2025; another in 2026.

 The goal seminars are: 

• to support entrepreneurship and initiative of students, 

• develop their creativity, independence and ability to put ideas into practice, 

• present entrepreneurship as a real and attractive career path, 

• to pass on examples of good practice and motivate students to take an active approach to the future. 

Expected benefit The roadshow aims to increase young people's awareness of entrepreneurial opportunities in the Ústí nad Labem Region, generate specific project ideas among students, and involve them in a broader ecosystem of activities supporting entrepreneurship in the region, which ICUK has been building for a long time.  

In terms of the benefit of this activity for the transformation of the Ústí nad Labem Region, it is mainly about: systematic work with human capital and changing the attitudes of the young generation towards their own future in the region. The motivational roadshow specifically addresses high school students in their natural environment and brings them concrete, authentic stories of people from practice who have managed to turn ideas into real projects and businesses. This contributes to the gradual dismantling of barriers, stereotypes and fears associated with entrepreneurship, which are often strong in structurally affected regions.  

The roadshow supports the development of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking, initiative and responsibility for one's own professional direction, which are key prerequisites for the emergence of new economic activities, innovations and job opportunities directly in the Ústí nad Labem Region.  

In the long term, the activity strengthens young people's ties to the region, increases the likelihood that they will stay here to study, work or do business, and thus contributes to the gradual economic and social transformation of the region towards an open, self-confident and enterprising region.
