Geissler's Hofcomoedianten: The Alchemists

The world as we know it is but a shadow of what it once was. And the world that will be tomorrow is not even a hundredth of what we have today. It was the alchemists who made the Discovery. A secret that should never have been spoken, nor seen by the world – but how can they remain silent when they carry the weight of this world on their shoulders? An interactive production for both older and younger audiences will allow you to look into five alchemical laboratories, founded by the Grand Master of the secret order himself (and emperor, of course!) Rudolf II of Habsburg. And – if the signs are favorable – give the world another chance.

The production of “The Alchemists” is more than just a historical drama – it is a living laboratory space for experiential learning and discussion about entrepreneurship, innovation, teamwork and sustainability. The event helps demonstrate the qualities of creative entrepreneurship through both an interactive experience and the organizational structure of a theater project.
