The Innovation Centre of the Usti Region is a co-organiser of the project Support and Development of Innovation Environment in the Usti Region II (Smart II – ÚK).
The project builds on the Smart Accelerator for Usti Region project and aims to support the development of innovation economy in the Usti Region in accordance with the National Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization of the Czech Republic (i.e. the National RIS3 Strategy) and its regional annexes for the Usti Region.
The aim of the project is to improve the environment for improving the innovation performance of the region, to support the ecosystem and to expand the capacity and core competencies of experts.
KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE PROJECT

creation of an expert team that connects and stimulates innovation activities in the region
#MAPPING AND ANALYSIS OF THE REGION
data collection and creation of documents and analyses for innovative development of the region
#MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION OF THE REGION
visibility of regional success stories in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, R&D
#BASIC TEAM
#ASSISTANCE
subsidy support for the preparation of development projects
#PILOT VERIFCATION
projects to attract/retain experts and commercialise R&D results
#TWINING
gaining experience in the commercialisation of research results (TU Dresden)
