Entrepreneurship vs. Business
Entrepreneurship is the specific activity of starting and running a business with the aim of generating profit. Entrepreneurship can therefore be used in personal life, school, community and work, while entrepreneurship is one of its possible forms.

Creativity and innovation
Entrepreneurship develops the ability to come up with new ideas and novel solutions. Students learn to think creatively and apply innovative approaches in practice.
Teamwork
Pupils and students learn to communicate effectively and cooperate in a team, respect the opinions of others and work together to find the best solution. Teamwork strengthens social skills and builds trust.
Troubleshooting
Entrepreneurship supports the ability to analyze situations and find effective solutions to real-world problems. Pupils and students learn to adapt and find ways to cope even in unexpected situations.
Self-development and responsibility
Entrepreneurship leads to increased independence and responsibility for one's own work and decisions. Pupils and students acquire the ability to plan and act actively without waiting for instructions.

1. Professional lectures and workshops at elementary and secondary schools
We hold professional lectures and workshops directly in schools, focusing on topics such as creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, social networks, personal development, financial and media literacy, working with ideas and more. Students participate in discussions, complete interactive tasks, learn to work with ideas, and learn the principles of entrepreneurial thinking. Activities are conducted practically, often with the participation of experts from practice. Schools choose the topics and scope themselves.
2. University incubator and bootcamps for universities
The university incubator is designed for students with their own ideas or startups, which we help develop with the support of mentors. Bootcamps combine intensive education, teamwork and feedback from experts. Here, students try to implement their own ideas with real impact. We advance the best ones to other programs offered by ICUK or connect them with investors.
3. Organizing ideathons, hackathons and camps
These formats enable pupils and students to solve specific challenges within a set time and create creative solutions. Participants work in teams, learn to plan, present and respond to feedback. The competitive and experiential form supports motivation and practical learning, develops future skills and teamwork. We select the tasks and topics ourselves, or together with schools, public institutions and companies. Practical ideas are often generated, and the best ones are taken to incubators or presented to investors.
4. Introducing technology into teaching
In our activities, we integrate digital tools into teaching, both within classical subjects and in project-based teaching. We support the use of tools such as Canva, Design Thinking, Lean Canvas, AI applications or business simulations. Thanks to this, pupils and students will master working with technologies and develop their competencies that correspond to the real environment of future jobs or businesses.
5. Connecting schools with the business environment and regional partners
We actively build bridges between schools and companies, startups, public administration institutions and other organizations in the region. Partnerships create internships, excursions, mentoring or joint projects. Such connections give meaning to teaching and pupils and students real contact with an environment where they can apply their skills.
Entrepreneurship Ambassadors Network
Entrepreneurship Ambassadors are active educators who aim to embed the development of entrepreneurship, initiative and creativity into teaching and educational concepts in schools. The new RVP for primary schools already addresses entrepreneurship; secondary schools are still waiting for a revision. It is all the more important that implementation begins as soon as possible.

Does the database include all institutions and organizations that support entrepreneurship?
In our database we only have verified institutions and organizations, does not include them all.
Due to the revision of the RVP we expect an increase in the number of new organization.
Currently it is almost a hundred institutions and organizations mapped, which offers various events, activities and forms of supporting entrepreneurship not only in teaching.
We are continuously updating and expanding the database.
How long does the Entrepreneurship Ambassador accreditation process take?
In general, we try within one month conclude a Work Performance Agreement with a successfully accredited ambassador, and from the following month he/she is a valid member of the network.
However, everything depends on the speed of delivery of documents by the applicant, and sometimes also on the time available to the evaluators.
Who are the experts in practice?
They are ours qualified instructors and lecturers with experience in a specific area or areas from the business environment.
All are verified and have passed or are completing the accreditation process into our regional networks of experts.
At the same time, our members of the ICUK professional education team experts themselves because they have their own experience and practice from previous jobs.

After clicking, you will find offers of individual events and activities.
All are free.
How are professional lectures and workshops conducted at schools?
The school, or rather the teacher or entrepreneurship ambassador, selects a topic that they want to introduce to the students.
They can be contacted either using the form on the ICUK website or directly by e-mail at edu@icuk.cz our team, which will provide an expert for the given area.
The expert will always prepare an interactive lecture or workshop. The goal is to directly involve students in the teaching through various forms – games, practical exercises, real outputs, prototypes, models, etc. It depends on the topic, content and format that the expert chooses.
After the end, there is always anonymous feedback from both the students and the teacher to the expert.
The costs of the expert are covered by ICUK.
When is it possible to order an event or activity for the school?
Events and activities in various formats such as professional presentations, workshops, motivational discussions, festivals, ideathons, hackathons, internships or camps are possible. order continuously throughout the year, however we recommend Contact us at the end of the school year or semester to arrange specific dates and formats for events.
For larger formats such as festivals or project days, it is recommended to contact us. with sufficient time in advance.

How much do the programs and events offered by ICUK cost?
All of them our events and activities are free of charge.
Even we can cover events and activities outside the school building, e.g. in the city theater or library hall, etc.
What organizations does ICUK cooperate with?
As part of supporting education for entrepreneurship and creativity, we cooperate with dozens of institutions and organizations, such as the Association of Entrepreneurial Czech Republic, MŮŽEŠ PODNIKAT, JA Czech, the Czech Savings Bank Foundation, SKOALA and many others.
We offer various educational, motivational, competitive and other types of actions.
We can also arrange their events directly for your school or bring them to your city or municipality.
Even in this case, we cover almost all costs.
I am an institution/company and I want to offer my services in the field of education. What should I do?
Of course, we would be happy to.
At a joint online or in-person meeting, you will first present to us your offer of events and activities, or what you see as a potential for cooperation.

If you are a student in the second grade of primary school, so we offer the Academy of Ideas. We bring the Academy directly to schools, so either contact us at your teacher's and we will offer him the program (it's free), or write to edu@icuk.cz and we will send you more information.
If you are a high school student, we offer Startup Academy, which we offer directly to schools, or in some cities we organize it in public spaces for anyone who is interested. What do others say about entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship education is not about the largest number of projects or exhausted teachers. Whether a student becomes an entrepreneurial graduate depends primarily on the student himself. However, in the choir room team, be sure that you have done your best to create the best conditions and opportunities for him to do so.
One definition says that entrepreneurship is the key to innovation and growth. It is the ability to see opportunities where others see problems. That is why we at ICUK support the development of these skills in young people and create an environment where they can not only develop their ideas, but also implement them with real impact.
