Based on the existence of a comprehensive strategy to support innovation in the field of health and care, we have received almost the maximum number of stars in the evaluation as a place of reference (3* out of 4*). This is a shift from last year when we got 2*.
A total of 65 regions across Europe were evaluated. A 2-stage assessment was also introduced for the first time, giving regions the opportunity to present all of their 6 criteria to be assessed on the RSCN network. The results from the entire survey will help the Reference Sites to mentor each other to jointly ensure a sustainable system of Reference Sites in the future.
