The Innovation Center of the Ústí Region deepens strategic cooperation with Taiwanese and Czech partners in the semiconductor industry. The goal of the newly signed memorandum is to create the conditions for the development of a sustainable supply chain for the development and production of chips and to strengthen regional innovation.
The memorandum was signed as part of a broader tour of the Taiwanese business delegation to the Czech Republic during their stop in Ústí nad Labem, which was mediated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and CzechInvest.
The memorandum presents a key opportunity for entities in the Ústí Region, especially from the area innovation, research and development, education and industry. Thanks to the cooperation with the Taiwan Eastbound Alliance and the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster (CNSC), new opportunities for access to advanced technologies, the exchange of know-how and the establishment of partnerships with Taiwanese and Czech entities are opening up.
The collaboration focuses on attracting ambitious and innovative Taiwanese companies to the region, which can significantly to revive the local economy and support the creation of new jobs in the high-tech sector. Furthermore, the initiative includes development of educational and research centers, which will provide an opportunity to improve the skills of local workers and strengthen their competitiveness in the global market.
It is also an important part of the memorandum promoting sustainability and responsible business, which is in line with the strategic goals of the Ústí Region for economic development.
