ICUK Brussels Point: The Ústí nad Labem Region has its voice in the heart of Europe

The Innovation Center of the Ústí nad Labem Region is opening Brussels Point, a coworking office right in the heart of European events. It is another step in ICUK's long-term efforts to connect the Ústí nad Labem Region with the world and secure it a strong place on the European map. The space is intended for those who want to develop their own potential - business, research and personal, while strengthening cooperation and the reputation of the Ústí nad Labem Region across Europe. It is available free of charge and without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Where can you find Brussels Point?

The office is located at Av. Roger Vandendriessche 18, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre in the European Business Network building (EBN) – a recognized European hub for innovation and international collaboration. It is located in a quiet residential area approximately one kilometer from the Parc du Cinquantenaire.

The Berlaymont district, the heart of the EU institutions, can be reached by tram in just 10 minutes. Ideal for anyone traveling to Brussels to negotiate with the European Commission, Parliament or other European institutions.

What does the office offer?

Brussels Point is a fully-fledged work environment. There is an open coworking space, a closed meeting room for about 10 people with a TV for presentations and two acoustic booths for private calls or focused work. Moreover, the location in the EBN building naturally opens the door to networking with companies and innovators from all over Europe.

Who is Brussels Point intended for?

Brussels Point is intended for companies, startups, research institutions, universities and public organizations that have a connection to the Ústí nad Labem region and are interested in actively contributing to its development and international reputation. It will be especially appreciated by those who cooperate with ICUK, whether within the framework of business support programs, innovation or digitalization and want to move this cooperation to the European level. The space is an ideal background for delegations, negotiations with partners from EU institutions or building new contacts with an impact abroad.

What opportunities does Brussels Point open up?

Brussels is the place where the future of European regions is shaped – where partnerships are created, where trust is built and where presence means influence. For ICUK, Brussels Point is a natural expression of what the centre has been doing for a long time: connecting the Ústí nad Labem Region with the world, opening doors for it and ensuring that its voice is heard where it matters. A direct presence in Brussels strengthens ICUK’s ability to represent the region’s interests at the European level, establish strategic partnerships and actively participate in processes that influence the development of the entire region.

This opens up very specific possibilities for companies, researchers, institutions and public organizations from the Ústí nad Labem Region – to look for foreign partners, build contacts in the European environment, prepare for negotiations with EU institutions or simply be present where European business and politics take place. Brussels Point is a base for anyone who wants to actively expand the activities of the Ústí nad Labem Region beyond its borders.

Opening hours and reservations

The office is open every working day from 9:00 to 17:30.

You can reserve a table or meeting room by email at brussels@icuk.cz.

ICUK Point – a growing network for the Ústí nad Labem region

Brussels Point joins the ICUK network of contact points, which includes an office in Prague (Technological Centre Prague) and in Krásná Lípa (House of Bohemian Switzerland). The network aims to connect the Ústí nad Labem Region with key ecosystems in the Czech Republic and abroad and ensure that the region has a strong voice where decisions are made about its future.
