Ústí nad Labem, May 19, 2025 – The Innovation Center of the Ústí nad Labem Region (ICUK) together with the Ústí nad Labem Region announces the 8th annual competition for the Innovative Company of the Ústí nad Labem Region for the past year. This competition, which aims to recognize the most significant innovations in products, services, technologies or processes of companies in the region, opens its application gates to start-ups, small, medium and large companies that are not afraid to come up with new original solutions. The award will also be given to a personality who has made an extraordinary contribution to the development of the Ústí nad Labem Region.
The terms and conditions of the competition remain the same as in previous years. Any company with a registered office or business in the Ústí nad Labem Region, including start-ups up to 3 years old, can apply for the 2025 Innovation Company of the Ústí nad Labem Region competition. Products, services or technologies should be new or significantly improved. Companies that participated in previous years can also apply for the competition. The innovation submitted must not be the same as in previous years.

We support companies that are looking for new paths – whether in the areas of digitalization, energy savings or sustainable solutions. The Innovative Company Competition gives them a space to make their voices heard and inspire others."," adds ICUK director Martin Mata to the competition.
Ratings and awards
An expert jury evaluates innovative projects in two categories; small and medium-sized enterprises including startups and large companies. The winner of each category receives a financial reward of 50,000 crowns and the opportunity to use the label Innovative Company of the Ústí nad Labem Region 2025.
A special category of the competition is the Professor Jiřina Jílková Award, awarded to a personality who has made an exceptional contribution to development and innovation in the region. Applications can be submitted electronically via the website www.icuk.cz
until November 15, 2025The gala evening and the announcement of the winners of the competition will take place in January 2026.
