When we were thinking about who could moderate our event How to Start Innovation in a Company with AI, we came up with Tomáš Studeník – a promoter of innovation and AI. And since he was already in Ústí, we took the opportunity to interview him for the next episode of the NovýStart podcast.

Tomáš Studeník is a Czech innovator, urban hacker, and promoter of radical change in companies and society. He is behind the CEE Hacks innovation marathons, where students and professionals search for solutions for healthcare, energy, industry, and other sectors. He is also the founder of Insane Business Ideas, a company that helps companies come up with bold ideas and not be afraid of failure.

In 2014, he brought the concept of FuckUp Nights to the Czech Republic, where business failures are openly shared, and a few years later he published The Big Book of Fuckups. Another of his revolutionary projects was the first theater play written by artificial intelligence – THEAITRE, which premiered at the Švand Theatre. Tomáš Studeník is proof that innovation is not just about technology, but above all about people who have the courage to think differently.
