Litomyšl, known for its cultural treasures and history, became a place for young and ambitious people with a passion for business for a week. She hosted exactly one week from Friday, August 18 Summer camp "You can do business", which was intended for young people aged 16 to 24. Among the mentors was the representative of ICUK - Daniel Trnka, responsible for support and motivation for entrepreneurship in schools.
It was a unique opportunity for young business enthusiasts who had the opportunity to work on their projects under the guidance of experienced mentors. It was a time full of inspiration, education and networking for the participants.
During the first six days, educational workshops and intensive consultations of individual projects took place with mentors, including Daniel Trnka, representative of the Innovation Center of the Ústí Region. These days culminated in the selection of six final projects, which were then presented as part of the Pitch Deck Nation event in front of an expert jury, represented by the mayor of Litomyšl Daniel Brýdl, the director of the "You can do business" program Tereza Moravcová, representatives of the CzechInvest Agency and several entrepreneurs, potential investors.

All six final projects were great and imaginative, but only three could be appreciated by the jury. Lucie Košatová, a young innovator with a vision to improve the lives of diabetics. She developed the application with a personal connection to the topic Diasaurus, which is not just a tool, but a companion for those struggling with diabetes. The application offers a connection with an insulin pump and above all supports its users to create positive habits and connect them with other diabetics. Lucia managed to combine technology with empathy, which secured her third place.
She won the second place Veronika Hývnarová. A young entrepreneur with a sensitive approach to family needs came up with a project Weekend camps for children, which represents an interesting solution for families where parents want to enjoy a weekend break and at the same time want to offer their children a high-quality and meaningful program. Veronika combined entertainment and education for children and showed how an innovative idea can bring change to everyday life.
He became the winner Matěj Plšek with the Beliver application, which aims to support Christian congregations. Its application is more than just a tool for funding Christian churches. It is a platform that offers believers the opportunity to connect more deeply with the community and seek spiritual support even from a distance. Matej's vision of global expansion of this application and his ability to combine technology with faith brought him to the top of this prestigious camp.
The winners won not only prestigious awards, but also mentoring services worth five, fifteen and twenty-five thousand crowns. And we at ICUK are very happy that among the participants of the camp there was also a representative from the Ústí Region - a student from the gymnasium in Litoměřice.
The summer camp "Můžes podnikat" is not only about business, but also about connecting like-minded people and creating strong bonds between them. It offers an opportunity to grow and develop your skills, gain new knowledge, inspiration, advice and contacts. We at ICUK are already looking forward to the next year of the "You can do business" summer camp, in which we will be happy to participate again. Interested students who would like to participate next year can contact Dan - trnka@icuk.cz.
