The Innovation Center of the Ústí Region (ICUK) is advancing its services and projects again. In recent days, it has become part of Hubs4Circularity, a European community that connects actors from industry, regions, cities and research and development organizations that are interested in sharing knowledge, experience, tools and materials in order for individual regions to meet climate neutrality goals faster by 2050.
Membership benefits can be divided into three levels. First of all, ICUK and its clients gain access to current knowledge on how to reduce the environmental impact of regions and industries in the form of best practices, manuals, project results, technologies, patents, educational materials. Furthermore, the possibility to discuss, plan and share potential partnerships in solving new challenges and, last but not least, access to education in the form of webinars, workshops, but also to European financial instruments.
Any business entity, city, university, region or other institution defined on the Hubs4Circularity website whose vision is to develop sustainable economies and society can become a member of the community.
Hubs4Circularity is not the only community focusing on sustainability, innovation and cooperation between different actors to achieve the goals of a greener and circular economy. The New European Bauhaus initiative, of which ICUK is also a member, has similar goals in the field of architecture. Our RIS3 Developer Lukáš Eršil will provide more information about the possibilities of using the services of the Hubs4Circularity community and the New European Bauhaus initiative: ersil@icuk.cz
